grade10 DEXTERITY | class 2024-2025
To My Dear Grade 10 Dexterity Students,
As you stand on the threshold of completing one beautiful chapter of your life and stepping into the next, my heart overflows with pride, love, and gratitude. It feels like just yesterday when you walked into the classroom, full of curiosity, uncertainty, and hope. And now, here you are — wiser, stronger, and ready for new beginnings.
Each of you has grown in ways that words cannot fully capture. I have seen you struggle and rise, stumble and soar, doubt yourselves and then conquer your fears. You’ve faced challenges with courage, supported one another with kindness, and showed determination that has truly inspired me. You’ve turned moments of difficulty into opportunities for growth, and in doing so, you have become more than just students — you have become leaders, dreamers, and resilient individuals.
The name “Dexterity” suits you perfectly. You’ve shown agility not just in academics but in character. You've learned to balance your responsibilities, relationships, and emotions with grace. Your creativity, energy, and enthusiasm have brought our classroom to life and filled it with laughter, music, and unforgettable memories.
But beyond the lessons and exams, what I will treasure most are the conversations, the quiet moments of reflection, the teamwork during projects, and the way you’ve made each other feel seen and heard. You’ve created a family — one built not just on shared experiences, but on mutual respect and care. That, my dear students, is more valuable than any grade.
As you prepare to move forward, remember this: the world beyond these school walls is vast and full of possibilities. There will be days when things feel overwhelming. There will be moments of doubt. But always hold onto the confidence that you’ve built here. Trust the lessons you've learned and the person you are becoming. Never be afraid to dream big, to speak up, to stand out, and most importantly, to be kind — to others and to yourself.
You are capable of achieving remarkable things. The future may feel uncertain, but I have no doubt that each of you will light up whatever path you choose to take. Keep your curiosity alive. Keep growing. Keep believing in the power of your voice, your dreams, and your purpose.
And please, don’t forget to pause and appreciate the journey. Celebrate your wins, no matter how small. Learn from your mistakes without letting them define you. And always remember, you are loved, you are enough, and you matter — not because of your achievements, but because of who you are.
Grade 10 Dexterity, thank you for letting me be a part of your story. I will always cheer for you, wherever life takes you next.
With all my heart,
ma'am jacjac
(Your proud teacher) 💖

JoJo - Ready To Love | LYRIC VISUALIZER
Joanna Noëlle Levesque, professionally known as JoJo, has been a prominent figure in the music industry since her early teens. Born on December 20, 1990, in Foxborough, Massachusetts, JoJo's passion for music was evident from a young age. She began performing in singing competitions and local talent shows, which eventually led to her discovery on the television show "America's Most Talented Kids" in 2003. This appearance caught the attention of record producer Vincent Herbert, leading to her signing with Blackground Records.
In 2004, at just 13 years old, JoJo released her self-titled debut album. The lead single, "Leave (Get Out)," showcased her powerful vocals and mature sound, propelling her to the top of the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart. This achievement made her the youngest solo artist to have a number-one single in the United States. Her subsequent album, "The High Road" (2006), featured the hit "Too Little Too Late," which further solidified her place in the pop and R&B scenes.
Despite her early success, JoJo faced significant challenges in her career. Disputes with her record label, Blackground Records, led to a prolonged period where she was unable to release new music commercially. During this time, she took matters into her own hands, releasing mixtapes like "Can't Take That Away from Me" (2010) and "Agápē" (2012) independently. These projects allowed her to explore her artistry without the constraints of a traditional label.
In 2014, after a successful legal battle, JoJo was released from her contract and signed with Atlantic Records. This partnership resulted in her third studio album, "Mad Love" (2016), which marked a triumphant return to the music scene. Demonstrating resilience and a commitment to her craft, JoJo re-recorded and re-released her first two albums in 2018 to regain control over her music.
Continuing her artistic evolution, JoJo released her latest single, "Ready To Love," in January 2025. This track delves deep into themes of love, growth, and emotional vulnerability. With poignant lyrics like, "’Cause you make me wanna run, run, run away to someone who’s already ready to love," JoJo captures the pain of unfulfilled love. The song masterfully balances heartache with hope, making it a relatable anthem for those navigating complex relationships.
The production of "Ready To Love" seamlessly blends R&B melodies with modern pop elements, creating an immediate resonance with listeners. The accompanying music video enhances the song's narrative through stunning choreography and cinematic visuals. Choreographed and styled by Tilly Evans-Krueger, the video features dancers Alex Aquilino and Andre Malcolm, whose performances add depth to the emotional storyline. Directed by Pierre Marias, the video immerses viewers in a visually rich atmosphere, complementing the song's themes of love, isolation, and personal rediscovery.
JoJo's journey in the music industry is a testament to her resilience, talent, and unwavering dedication. From her early days as a teenage sensation to her current status as a mature artist, she has consistently evolved, using her experiences to fuel her artistry. "Ready To Love" stands as a reflection of her personal growth and artistic maturity, offering fans a glimpse into her continued evolution.
For those eager to experience "Ready To Love," the single is available on all major streaming platforms. JoJo's official website and social media channels provide further insights into her latest projects and upcoming endeavors.

flowerovlove and ‘I’ve Seen Ur Ex’: A Rising Star’s Bold Take on Heartbreak
In the ever-evolving world of alternative R&B and indie pop, flowerovlove is quickly becoming a name to watch. The British singer-songwriter, known for her dreamy soundscapes and introspective lyricism, brings a refreshing perspective to modern music. Her latest track, “I’ve Seen Ur Ex,” is an intriguing and bold exploration of post-breakup emotions, told through her unique blend of ethereal vocals and infectious melodies.
Who is flowerovlove?
Born Joyce Cisse, flowerovlove is a London-based artist who has been making waves in the indie music scene. Despite her young age, she has already carved out a signature sound that blends elements of alternative pop, neo-soul, and soft R&B. Her music often touches on themes of self-discovery, love, and the beauty of nature—hence her stage name, which symbolizes growth and transformation.
flowerovlove first gained attention with singles like “Malibu” and “Hannah Montana,” which showcased her delicate yet commanding vocal presence. Her music is characterized by its dreamy, lo-fi production, smooth beats, and deeply personal storytelling. Fans and critics alike have praised her ability to create immersive soundscapes that transport listeners into her world.
A New Era with ‘I’ve Seen Ur Ex’
With “I’ve Seen Ur Ex,” flowerovlove steps into a more playful and assertive sonic space. The song’s title alone hints at the sharp, slightly mischievous energy that runs through its lyrics. Rather than wallowing in heartbreak, the track takes a cheeky and confident approach to moving on.
Lyrically, the song captures the relatable experience of comparing oneself to an ex-lover’s new flame. There’s an air of curiosity, confidence, and even amusement in flowerovlove’s delivery, making it a standout track for anyone who has ever encountered their ex’s new partner and felt a mix of emotions. Rather than leaning into bitterness or sadness, she presents a self-assured and almost humorous take on the situation.
Musically, “I’ve Seen Ur Ex” continues flowerovlove’s signature dreamy aesthetic but adds an upbeat, groove-heavy rhythm that makes it perfect for both introspective listening and casual vibing. The production is sleek yet organic, allowing her airy vocals to take center stage. The song is catchy without being overproduced, a balance that she has mastered across her discography.
Why This Song Matters
In an industry saturated with break-up anthems that lean into sorrow or anger, “I’ve Seen Ur Ex” offers a fresh perspective. It’s a song about self-assurance, a subtle flex wrapped in a smooth melody. It also reflects flowerovlove’s evolution as an artist—she’s not just making dreamy bedroom pop anymore; she’s crafting narratives that resonate deeply with listeners.
With her growing fanbase and increasing recognition, flowerovlove is poised to be one of the defining voices of the indie R&B-pop scene. “I’ve Seen Ur Ex” is just another step in her artistic journey, proving that she’s here to stay—and she’s doing it on her own terms.

Wallows - Coffin Change | LYRIC VISUALIZER
Wallows, the Los Angeles-based alternative rock trio comprising Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston, have been captivating audiences with their eclectic blend of indie rock, post-punk, and surf punk since their formation in 2011. Initially performing under names like The Feaver and The Narwhals, the band officially adopted the moniker Wallows in 2017 and quickly gained traction with their debut single "Pleaser," which soared to number two on Spotify's Global Viral 50 chart. citeturn0search23
Over the years, Wallows have demonstrated a remarkable ability to evolve their sound while maintaining the core elements that resonate with their fans. Their discography includes the critically acclaimed albums "Nothing Happens" (2019), featuring the platinum-certified single "Are You Bored Yet?" with Clairo, "Tell Me That It's Over" (2022), and "Model" (2024). Each release showcases the band's growth and willingness to experiment with different musical styles and themes.
In early 2025, Wallows announced their upcoming EP titled "More," set to be released on March 28. This seven-track collection serves as a companion to their "Model" album and includes songs like "Not Alone," "Deep Dive," and "Learn to Love Again." The EP aims to explore new sonic landscapes while delving into introspective themes that have become a hallmark of the band's songwriting. citeturn0search4
On February 20, 2025, Wallows premiered the single "Coffin Change" on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders. The track, produced by John Congleton, who previously collaborated with the band on "Nothing Happens," offers a compelling blend of upbeat instrumentation and contemplative lyrics. The song juxtaposes catchy, pop-infused melodies with themes of mortality and existential reflection. As Lemasters explained, the title "Coffin Change" plays on the idea of "pocket change," inviting listeners to ponder the value of time and the inevitability of life's end. citeturn0search1
Musically, "Coffin Change" features jangly guitars tuned down a whole step, creating a distinctive sound that complements the song's thematic depth. Minnette noted that the track stands out in Wallows' repertoire as it diverges from their typical love song narratives, instead offering a fresh perspective on life's broader questions. citeturn0search1
To support the release of the "More" EP, Wallows have embarked on the "Model & More Tour 2025," which commenced on February 6 in Omaha, Nebraska. The tour includes headline dates across North America, with special guests Deb Never and Porches joining the band on select shows. Additionally, Wallows are slated to perform at major festivals such as The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York and Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee. citeturn0search3
In conjunction with Record Store Day on April 12, 2025, Wallows will release a limited-edition evergreen and white vinyl pressing of the "More" EP, available exclusively at independent record stores worldwide. This special release underscores the band's commitment to supporting local music retailers and providing fans with unique, tangible music experiences. citeturn0search3
As Wallows continue to push creative boundaries with "Coffin Change" and the forthcoming "More" EP, they solidify their position as a dynamic force in the alternative rock scene. Their ability to blend introspective lyricism with innovative soundscapes ensures that their music resonates deeply with audiences, both new and longstanding.
